The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 31272C Solenoid Valve is found in Elkay EZ series and Halsey Taylor HTV series drinking fountains. The solenoid valve includes a mounting bracket.
The solenoid valve controls the flow of water. When the push bar is pressed, a switch behind the push bar sends electricity to the solenoid valve, which opens the valve and lets water flow. When the push bar is released, the solenoid closes and water flow stops.
