This Most Dependable Fountains 1/8 FR (Part #157244) is the Flow Control of the Drinking Fountain that keeps the water from spraying too far and splashing on the wall or floor.
This part is necessary if you have the Most Dependable Fountains O-Ring Valve & O-Ring Assembly Complete 3/8 x 1/4" (Part #134029).
If you would like to Bypass this Most Dependable Fountains 1/8 FR Flow Control, you can purchase The Most Dependable Fountains VB III Adjustable Kit (Part #157272), the Updated Valve with Flow Control.
