Elkay Drinking Fountain Parts

The Elkay 56229C Upper Shroud is for Elkay EZ series drinking fountains with front and side push bars. This shroud mounts between the upper basin and the main frame of the drinking fountain. The shroud assembly comes with the pushbars, switches, and wiring harness already installed.

The Elkay 56002C Side Push Bar fits on Elkay EZ series drinking fountains. This plastic push bar fits either the left or right side of the unit. When the user presses the push bar, it contacts the switches which send power to the solenoid and activate the water flow. On the back of the pushbar there are two tabs that hold the handle in the shroud assembly.

The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 51531C Pivot Block fits many older Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains with push bars. This plastic pivot block mounts inside the drinking fountain. The pivot pin which is attached to the push bar fits into this block. Together the two parts act as a hinge for the push bar to pivot on.

The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 50212C Pivot Block Pin works with Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains.

The pivot block pin snaps into the metal push handle and sits inside the pivot block.

The Elkay Cold Control Thermostat 31513C is an adjustable cold control thermostat. This thermostat controls the cooling system to regulate the temperature of the chilled water in most Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains. There are two male electrical terminals and one metal sensing lead.

The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 35948C Push Bar Switch mounts behind the push bar. It has two male spade wire connectors.

When the push bar is pressed, this switch sends power to the solenoid which activates the water flow.

The Elkay 51299C Replacement Filter (for EWF172) is a replacement filter for the EWF172 filter kit. It is designed to remove cysts, lead particles, and chlorine. It will also remove odors, and improve the taste of the water.

The Elkay Cartridge Holder 50986C is used in most Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains. The housing holds the cartridge(not included). The housing has internal coarse threads for the cartridge retaining nut, and fine external threads for the nut that holds the housing in place. The water inlet and outlet are 1/4” quick connect fittings.

The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 15005C Cartridge Retaining Nut is a plastic nut that holds the cartridge in the housing. This coarse thread nut is for use with newer coarse thread housings.
