Elkay Pushbars and Shrouds

The Elkay 55999C Front Push Bar is found on the Elkay EZ series drinking fountains. The plastic push bar measures 10” long x 2 3/16” wide. On the back, there are 3 plastic tabs which are prone to breaking when someone forcefully pushes on it. This makes it one of the most commonly replaced part on the Elkay EZ series drinking fountains.

The Elkay 56002C Side Push Bar fits on Elkay EZ series drinking fountains. This plastic push bar fits either the left or right side of the unit. When the user presses the push bar, it contacts the switches which send power to the solenoid and activate the water flow. On the back of the pushbar there are two tabs that hold the handle in the shroud assembly.

The Elkay 56229C Upper Shroud is for Elkay EZ series drinking fountains with front and side push bars. This shroud mounts between the upper basin and the main frame of the drinking fountain. The shroud assembly comes with the pushbars, switches, and wiring harness already installed.
