  6. Should I repair or replace my drinking fountain?

The answer to this question depends on what the problem is.  If you have a water leak or a water control issue (ex. broken button, stuck pressbar) you should be able to replace the parts and save yourself some money.  If you have a cooling issue then it gets to be a "gray" area.  Sometimes a thermostat or relay is an easy, inexpensive fix.  Many times the problem with the refrigeration system needs professional repair.  If you have a coolant leak or have to replace the cooling components you will need a refrigeration technician who has the equipment and know how to troubleshoot and replace those parts. In that case you are usually better off replacing your water cooler or drinking fountain.

The two terms are often used interchangably.  Technically a Drinking Fountain dispenses water without cooling it.  A Water Cooler cools the water using an internal refrigeration system.

  12. My drinking fountain leaks water. What is the problem?

If water dribbles out of the spout where it is supposed to come out from after you stop pusing the bar/button there is a problem with your valve. If water drips from somewhere it is not supposed to come from you need to look for the source. There are a few common places for leaks to come from. They are the drain gasket, cooling tank, or quick connect push fittings.
