The Oasis 032046-001 Valve Body and Stem Assembly is found on Oasis PAM series drinking fountains behind the front push bar. When the user presses the push bar, it presses against the clamp(#102797) which is attached to the valve stem and twists the stem. As the valve stem twists it moves the valve gasket away from the seat and allows water to flow.

A: The stem is threaded into the valve body. To remove the stem use a wrench on the stem and turn counter-clockwise. Sometimes they are tough to remove due to sediment build up on them. If you are unable to remove the valve stem you may need to get a new valve body and stem assembly.
