This in-line strainer also replaces Y-strainer.

The inlet is 3/8” and the outlet is 1/4”.

- Q: How do you remove the water supply lines from the old "Strainer"? Do they have to be cut with a pipe cutter?
- A: The 55996C strainer has release collars on it. Push in the dark gray plastic piece that is next to the copper lines. While doing this, pull and gently twist the copper line to remove it. If the copper line will not come out of the strainer you will need to cut the lines.
