- Q: What procedure do take to remove old cold control thermostat and what do you do to replace new ?
- A: Unplug the unit from the wall. Pull the electrical leads off of the cold control and trace the metal tube from the cold control to where it goes into a small copper tube. Gently pull on the metal tube to remove it from the copper tube. Next remove the two screws that hold the cold control onto the unit. Do the steps in reverse order to put in the new cold control.
